Scripture: Matthew 5:16- Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Message: God said to let your light so shine before men. There is something inside of you that darkness cannot create. Your testimony, Your calling, Your gifts, Your faith, Your compassion, Your resilience, Your purpose. That's your light. And everything that shines will eventually attract attention, including the wrong attention. So don't dim yourself because somebody is uncomfortable with your brightness. But don't waste your light trying to prove yourself either. Protect it. Protect your peace. Protect your heart. Protect your mind. Protect your purpose. Protect your boundaries. Protect your vision. Protect your relationship with God. Because you cannot pour light into others while constantly allowing people to drain the vessel God is using.

‍Affirmation: I will protect what God placed inside of me. I will no longer give unlimited access to people, places, habits, conversations, or environments that continuously pull me away from who God called me to be. I will guard my heart, protect my peace, honor my purpose, and walk boldly in my assignment. I refuse to dim my light to make darkness comfortable. What God placed in me is sacred, valuable, and purposeful. I will protect the light, and I will let it shine.
