Message: Your feelings are real, but they're terrible leaders. Loneliness will convince you to settle. Anger will make you burn bridges God never told you to destroy. Fear will keep you stuck. Pride will keep you from apologizing. Hurt will make you push away the people sent to help you. The enemy doesn't always need to deceive you if he can simply get you to react. Stop making permanent decisions from temporary emotions.
Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Prayer: Father, teach me to pause before I react. Let Your Spirit speak louder than my emotions.
Affirmation: My emotions answer to God, they don't rule me.
